Where have you Traveled?
Travel changes us; there is no doubt about that. Travel removes us from the familiar routine that sometimes puts us to sleep back home. It broadens our perspective. When we go away we are able to see ourselves and our lives more clearly. It’s stimulating and inspiring to be in a completely different world where everything is new and unfamiliar; the language, food, customs, and architecture. I love experiencing the history in a country that is so much older than Canada.
My travels so far: two trips to California to visit my uncle and his family, many trips to Michigan City Indiana where my grandparents lived, a Caribbean cruise with my sister, a mother/daughter trip with Mom to Europe, a honeymoon in Florida, two trips with my husband and kids to Florida, a mother/daughter trip with my daughter to Greece last year and yearly vacations in beautiful Cape Breton.
I’m by no means finished travelling. I want to return to Europe. I’d like to see more of Italy, Austria, Germany and Switzerland. I’d also like to visit Spain and Portugal.
Where have you traveled? Where do you still want to go?

"Lori has put together a real
page turner of a book. With
great humility Lori has woven
together a very insightful
personal story of transformation...
and in the process has put
together a doable set of steps
that anyone can do and
follow to their own happy place."
