Life – and Surprises!
I’ve got something to share, something I’ve barely got time to share, but you deserve to know since you’ve been hanging out here on the LFI porch with me for so long.
I’m going back to school! In September, I enrolled in the Master of Organizational Mangement program here, in town, at Crandall University. (The Master of Organizational Management is like an MBA without the math). The story of how I got here is too long to share – long even for me – so I’ll save that for another time. But I need to tell you that, as I approach the 7th Blogaversary of LFI, I’m going to step back for a while. I will still post now and then but I’m not sure how often I’ll have the time.
As for community building, that’s not going anywhere anytime soon! Rest assured that there are over 90 posts about community here and you can access them through this link.
Also, I’ll do my best to be attentive to the FaceBook pages for community builders, Community Building with Lori and Sounding Our Drums Together. I’m happy to answer any community building questions posted there.
Two more things…1) I love the program and 2) my long story has everything to do with community building. More about that later.
Life sure can surprise us! Did you ever find yourself doing something you never imagined you’d do?

Welcome to Life, for instance!
“Lori shares plenty of feet-on-the-ground advice and techniques for forming and fostering community... The newcomer to community building will get a solid foundation, and the experienced community builder will find a useful framework as well as some new tools for the toolbox.”
"Lori has put together a real
page turner of a book. With
great humility Lori has woven
together a very insightful
personal story of transformation...
and in the process has put
together a doable set of steps
that anyone can do and
follow to their own happy place."
