If You Could Change One Thing in Your Life – What Would it Be?

If You Could Change One Thing in Your Life – What Would it Be?

It was the “Question of the Week” last week and you bravely stepped up to the plate. You said you would increase productivity while reducing stress. You said you would worry less about what others thought of you; you wanted to be free to be silly and enjoy life. You said you would have had more children. My question to you: what are you doing inside my head?!

I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to get you thinking about regrets. When we hear a question like:  “What would you change in your life?” why do our thoughts automatically turn to regrets? We’re so serious! We all need a little more “silly” in our lives.

If you asked a group of four-year-olds this question you’d hear some very different replies. They live in the eternal now. These magical children don’t worry about the shoulds and have-tos and they don’t care a lot about what others think.

Let’s have some fun and treat this question as though it were a magical one; as though we could make a wish today and change one thing in our lives just by wishing. Would you have superpowers? Which one? Would you have the Midas touch (Ooo! I may take that one). Would you take a chance and go for a dream you’ve had on the back burner? Would you make everyone you meet laugh by being so funny…

What would you change in your life?
