2016 is running out! I know, it’s still early in December but is it really too early to think about the New Year waiting right around the corner?

I don’t think so.

Here’s where we make the plans that God laughs at. Wait! I don’t believe that! I believe in Free Will and is there any better exercise of our Free Will than to make plans for the upcoming year? Again, I don’t think so!

I already know what my plans are for 2017, though they will need to be padded with detail and stuffed into schedules. I plan to publish two books in 2017. Yes, you read that right. Two. The first one, I’ve been talking about for some time. It’s about community building. (Update! It’s available now – here!)

The other book may come as a surprise to you. It came as a surprise to me. It’s a children’s picture book. Again, more on that as 2017 unfolds.

I’d also like to ramp up the conversation here at LFI. I miss our lively discourses. Life is busy, I know, but the anticipation of gathering on the porch to have these conversations used to have me jumping out of bed on post days. I’d like to have that feeling again.
