What Do You Think About Life?
I believe life is a grand adventure. You never know what is going to happen later on today, let alone tomorrow. We have successes and frustrations; accomplishments and struggles; joys and times of eating ice-cream right out of the carton. Seems the more you think about life and the more you talk about it, the more you understand and appreciate it. Do you ever notice how mysteriously problems seem diminished by the voicing of them?
Sometimes I wonder, though, just exactly what it is we are here for and what it is we are supposed to be doing? It sure would make things easier if we knew. Wouldn’t it be great if there were a “Guide Book for Life” which would tell us! If there were such a book generously filled with clues I bet these would be among them:
- Our talents
- Our skills
- Our passions
- Our dreams
When we put these important things together, the path before us becomes clear. Doing the things our talents and skills make possible, giving free reign to our passions, living our dreams and enjoying the process of building them seems like a good plan for life if ever there were one.
The unpredictability, the challenges and obstacles we face only make it more interesting, don’t you think?
Because there are those rare moments when we are witness to the near-poetic perfection in the way things come together. And we know we’re up for the adventure.
Life; how many stars would you give it?
