Author Site Live!
It’s been a long time coming but the author site is now live!
It wasn’t easy to create the text for an author site because my path as a writer has been anything but linear or cohesive or logical. How do you tell a story about that?!?
In many ways, my path as a writer ran parallel to my path in life. Someone wrote in an Amazon review of my first book, The Happy Place, that it was “part poignant memoir, part self-help.” I guess it was “part memoir” — of the early years of my life. Before Alex died, before life moved from the theoretical to the real, before, before, before.
But if The Happy Place was part memoir, I guess you’d have to say that my second book picks up the story where that one leaves off.
It tells the story of my journey into the world of community building and it outlines — in detail — how to build community. This was a labour of love, nearly three years in the making.
